These tights are made with nylon on the outside for durability and combed cotton inside for softness and comfort. Young figure skaters or beginner skaters often want to wear a pretty skating skirt or dress but they need warmth on their legs while they learn to skate. A touch of Lycra will gives these tights elasticity so a skater can move easily on the ice.
