Return Policy

**HOLIDAY RETURN POLICY 2017**

All holiday purchases made on or prior to December 25, 2017, that are made specifically for holiday gift giving, will be allowed an extended refund/exchange policy up to January 15, 2018. All other rules, exceptions and policies still apply and will be enforced as detailed below.

Refunds Permitted

We gladly accept product returns for refund (less shipping and handling) within 15 days of purchase, with your original receipt or proof of purchase, on unworn, unopened and unused items in their original packaging and/or with tags attached (no ripped or torn packages will be accepted). Some items are considered Final Sale and are excluded from this policy (see Exceptions below). Items that fulfil the above requirements can be returned and are entitled to a refund (less shipping and handling), which will be applied to your original method of payment once the returned item is received and accepted by us. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.

Exceptions

Some items are considered "Final Sale" and are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. These include:

  • any opened tight package
  • any worn dance shoe
  • any bodysuit or leotard with tags removed
  • any undergarments such as bras, underwear and/or body liners for sanitary reasons
  • any hair accessories or jewelry items for health and sanitary reasons
  • any final sale or clearance items

To Return an Item for Refund

Simply package the item(s) being returned, along with a copy of your receipt/invoice, and send the package to the following address:

Upon receipt of the returned item, we will fully examine it and notify you via email, within a reasonable period of time, whether you are entitled to a return. If you are entitled to a return, we will refund your purchase price plus applicable taxes (shipping and handling is non-refundable) and a refund will automatically be applied to your original method of payment.

IMPORTANT!

Online orders can be dropped off for return processing at our Milton, Ontario location but cannot be refunded in-store. 

Please note: online orders can be dropped off for return in-store to the above Milton location only BUT refunds cannot be processed in-store. Please make sure to include a copy of your original invoice/receipt with your package. Returns will be processed by the Instep Activewear Online Department upon receipt and inspection of the returned item(s). Refunds must be processed by the online processor and will be refunded to the original credit card used in the online purchase.

Exchanges Permitted

We gladly accept product returns for exchange (shipping and handling charges will apply) within 30 days of purchase, with your original receipt or proof of purchase, on unworn, unopened and unused items in their original packaging and/or with tags attached (no ripped or torn packages will be accepted). Some items are considered Final Sale and are excluded from this policy (see Exceptions below). Items that fulfill the above requirements can be exchanged and your preferred item will be shipped out (shipping and handling charges will apply), once the returned item is received and accepted by us. Simply notify us by email to orders@instepactivewear.com about the required exchange, the item being returned and the new item that is required. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable on the original purchase and will apply to the exchanged item at the applicable rate.

IMPORTANT!

If more than 30 days have passed since your purchase, if you cannot produce a receipt or proof of purchase, or if the item(s) are worn or the packaging is damaged or missing in any way, if the item(s) is considered "Final Sale" (see Exceptions), the item(s) cannot be returned for refund or exchange, no exceptions.

Manufacturer Warranties – Products Considered Defective

In circumstances where you consider that a product is defective, you should promptly email us at support@instepactivewear.com with details of the product and the defect, and the date of purchase. We will work with the supplier/manufacturer on your behalf to discern whether your product is, in fact, defective. We are committed to providing you with quality products that function as the manufacturers claim they should. There are usually tight time restraints with respect to damaged or defective products with our manufacturers and it is very important that you contact us as soon as possible so that we may try to resolve your issue.

Shipping and Handling Charges

Refunds do not include any shipping and handling charges shown on the packaging slip or invoice. Shipping charges for all returns must be prepaid and insured by you. You are responsible for any loss or damage to the product during shipment. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item. We will not accept any packages with COD charges. We are not responsible for the returned product until it is accepted by us. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Any amounts refunded will not include the cost of shipping.

 

Shipping Policy

Instep Activewear Online currently ships to all destinations within Canada only. More North American and global shipping destinations coming soon! We use Canada Post Expedited Parcel Service (approximate delivery time from date of delivery is 1-7 business days). Shipping and Handling charges include all applicable taxes and are non-refundable.

Free In-Store Pickup

We offer free in-store pickup on any and all online orders at our Milton Retail location only. Simply select In-Store pickup at the checkout under Shipping Options. You will be notified by email when your order is ready for pickup at the Milton location. Orders are typically ready for pickup within 2 business days.

Free Shipping*

Currently we offer free shipping within Canada for all online orders* over $150 CAD (based on subtotal before taxes). This is a limited time offer and is subject to change at any time. We ship with Canada Post Expedited Service (approximate delivery time from date of delivery is 1-7 business days). You will receive an order confirmation by email and a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number for your convenience. Orders typically take 1-2 business days to process in our Online Department and should ship by the end of the second business day. If you have not received an email confirming your order has shipped after 3 business days, please contact us at support@instepactivewear.com. 

*Rac n Roll bags and Grit bags are currently excluded from the Free Shipping offer due to their oversized nature. Please contact us by email to orders@instepactivewear.com to get a shipping quote for your specific shipping address. Shipping Charges for these bags vary greatly by bag and shipping address.

Flat Rate Shipping*

We offer a flat rate of $14.95 for shipping of all online orders* within Canada under $150 CAD (based on subtotal before taxes). This is a limited time offer and is subject to change at any time. We ship with Canada Post Expedited Service (approximate delivery time from date of delivery is 1-7 business days). You will receive an order confirmation by email and a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number for your convenience. Orders typically take 1-2 business days to process in our Online Department and should ship by the end of the second business day. Oversized Shipping

If you would like to place an online order for an oversized item (eg. Rac n Roll bags or Grit bags), please contact us by email at orders@instepactivewear.com for a shipping quote for your specific shipping address. Shipping Charges for these bags vary greatly by bag and shipping address. Shipping and Handling charges are non-refundable.

General Information

All orders are subject to product availability. If an item is not in stock at the time you place your order, we will notify you and refund you the total amount of your order, using the original method of payment.

Delivery Location

Items offered on our website are only available for delivery to addresses in Canada. Any shipments outside of Canada are not available at this time.

Delivery Time

An estimated delivery time will be provided to you once your order is placed. Delivery times are estimates and commence from the date of shipping, rather than the date of order. Delivery times are to be used as a guide only and are subject to the acceptance and approval of your order. Unless there are exceptional circumstances, we make every effort to fulfill your your order within 1-2 business days of the date of your order. Business day means Monday to Friday, except holidays and store closures. Please note we do not ship on Saturdays or Sundays.

Date of delivery may vary due to carrier shipping practices, delivery location, method of delivery, and the items ordered. Products may also be delivered in separate shipments.

You can provide special delivery instructions on the checkout page of our website or via email to orders@instepactivewear.com.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are based on order subtotal and product restrictions (see above). To find out how much your order will cost, simply add the items you would like to purchase to your cart, and proceed to shipping options on the checkout page. Once at the checkout screen, shipping options and corresponding charges will be displayed. Additional shipping charges may apply to remote areas or for large or oversized items. You will be advised of any additional charges for your approval via email. Shipping and Handling charges are non-refundable.

Sales tax is charged according to the province or territory to which the item is shipped.

Damaged Items in Transport

If there is any damage to the packaging on delivery, please contact us immediately at support@instepactivewear.com.
